| 英文描述 | Hepatic lipidosis is an important cat disease, characterized by anorexia, weight loss, and fatty degeneration of the liver, in the presence of abundant abdominal fat stores. Dx is based on ultrasonography and biopsy. Common laboratory abnormalities include nonregenerative anemia, neutrophilic leukocytosis, increased serum alkaline phosphatase, elevated serum total bilirubin, increased serum alanine and aspartate aminotrasferase activities, hypoglycemia, hypoalbuminemia, increase serum creatinine, increased serum urea nitrogen, minimally concentrated urine, bilirubinemia, and elevated serum bile acids. Can be seen in association with other diseases or idiopathic. Prolonged anorexia is the most common sign. |
