| 英文描述 | This is a chronic erosive polyarthritis which resembles rheumatoid arthritis, but affected cats are negative for rheumatoid facor and do not show the classical villous hypertrophy of rheumatoid arthritis. By definition there is always 1. erosive (destructive) polyarthritis. 2. Marked proliferative or periosteal new bone at affected joints. and 3. No rheumatoid factor in the blood. There also may be 4. Enthesopathies and 5. Involvement of the hocks and carpi. On radiography there is periosteal new bone which often extends beyond the confines of the joint and can cause ankylosis in some cases. |
