| 英文描述 | Relapsing polychondritis in man is a rare disease characterized by inflammation and destruction of articular and nonarticular cartilage. Cats were examined which had swollen, erythematous, painful ears. The pinnae were swollen, had a violet color and were curled and deformed. Laboratory findings were unremarkable. Biopsy showed lympho-plasmacytic inflammation, loss of cartilage basophilia, and cartilage necrosis. The clinical and pathologic findings were consistent with a diagnosis of polychondritis. |
