| 英文描述 | A Swedish cat developed clinical signs in association with intracytoplasmic neutrophilic EHRLICHIA inclusions. The EHRLICHIA diagnosis was confirmed by serology, PCR, and DNA sequencing. The cat improved clinically following treatment with doxycycline. While monocytic ehrlichiosis had been previously described in cats, this was the first reported case of granulocytic ehrlichiosis. The agent is closely related to the granulocytotropic EHRLICHIA causing disease in dogs and horse in Sweden. |
