| 英文描述 | Rapid injection of 700 to 6000 ml of air intravenously in the horse has been shown to be fatal. Loud splashing heart murmurs that were continuous, but related to the heart beat were believed to be a characteristic sign. Has also been reported in small animals following cryosurgery, pneumocystography, and laparoscopy. Dx by history and presence of air in the heart and other organs at necropsy. |
