| 英文描述 | Branchial cysts in cattle and horses presents as a mass caudal to the ramus of the mandible, spherical and fluid filled. Aspiration yields creamy nonviscid fluid with grayish particulate matter. Branchial cyst causing swelling of the side of the face was reported in a dog. Cysts are lined with epithelium and dx by histology. Thymic branchial cysts are reported in the dog and cat, the primary clinical sign being dyspnea. A thyroglossal duct cyst was diagnosed in a dog, based on the presence of an epithelium lined structure on the ventral cervical midline in the general region of the hyoid bone. Exceptionally large cysts may interfere with the forelimb gait, respiration, and/or voice. Can be unilateral or bilateral. |
