| 英文描述 | A horse developed stiffness and spasms of the axial muscles of the lower back and the muscles of the hind legs, usually precipitated by voluntary movement or sudden stimuli. There was a stiff gait, and the muscles seemed painful. Reflexes were normal, and stiffness did not persist when the horse was lying down to rest. There was muscle hypertrophy, and movements became more relaxed after the first steps. There were autoantibodes against glutamic acid decarboxylase and this condition was believed to resemble stiff-man syndrome of people. There was a temporary response to corticosteroid treatment. |
