| 英文描述 | Disseminated bacterial infections in foals are common, particularly in foals that are premature, under 2 weeks old or immunocompromised. Many organisms can be involved; ESCHERICHIA COLI is the most common in recent surveys, and ACTINOBACILLUS EQUULI may be the agent when infection is apparent in the first 2 days of life. SALMONELLA, KLEBSIELLA, ENTEROBACTER, LISTERIA, STREPTOCOCCUS, STAPHYLOCOCCUS, CLOSTRIDIUM, PASTEURELLA, and other bacteria can be involved. |
