| 英文描述 | Subcutaneous hypoplasia is a skin defect in Quarter Horses characterized by slight depression in the skin up to several cm in diameter. Probably present at birth, but often not noticed at first. The skin appears normal, but there is a lack of subcutanous attachment to the underlying fascia. Usually only a single area present. May be pain when traction applied to the edge of the defect, and overlying skin tears easily. |
