| 英文描述 | Foals aged 4 days to 5 weeks developed muscle rigidity or stiff gait in association with other signs. These foals had corrected serum calcium concentrations <7.1 mg/dl. In most cases there was a rapid but transient resolution of clinical signs after intravenous administration of calcium but foals neither responded to oral calcium nor recovered; all died or were euthanized. The cause of this syndrome is unknown. |
