| 英文描述 | A foal was described which had continuous mild respiratory distress and regurgitation of milk from the nostrils. There were numerous abnormalities noted on endoscopic examination, including a small larynx and fused abnormal vocal cords. Radiographs showed a small larynx. Because of the multiple and severe abnormalities surgical treatment was not attempted. At necropsy the lesions found resembled a laryngeal web defect seen in man. |
