| 英文描述 | A foal was described which developed respiratory distress shortly after birth and died within a few hours. At necropsy there was enlargement of one lobe of the lung, displacing other viscera. This was believed to be caused by enlargement of the lobe due to greater numbers of alveoli, a polyalveolar lobe. Confirmation of this diagnosis requires morphometric measurements at necropsy. |
