| 英文描述 | A series of horses less than one year of age were examined because of stunted growth, weight loss, anorexia and dullness of at least one month's duration. Serum urea nitrogen and creatinine were elevated. Hypercalcemia and isothenuria were also present in some cases. Chronic renal failure was suspected, but there was no response to treatment. At necropsy the horses had renal hypoplasia of unknown cause. Ultrasonography might show small kidneys. |
