| 中文描述 | 反轉錄病毒會大比例從年輕小馬的糞便分離出來有下痢;一些受感染的小馬會死.抗體普見於較老年的馬.藉由辨識培養病毒或EM來診斷.混合感染大腸桿菌導致更惡化的臨床病狀於實驗動物.原發性影響小馬於三月齡以下,但較大的小馬也會受影響;當感染成馬不會形成臨床症狀,但是會把病毒胞吐出於環境中. |

| 英文描述 | Rotaviruses can be isolated from the stool of a large percent of young foals with diarrhea; some affected foals have died. Antibodies common in older horses. Dx by identification of virus on culture or EM. Mixed infection with ESCHERICIA COLI caused worse clinical signs in experimental animals. Primarily affects foals under 3 months of age, but older foals can also be affected; adult horses do not develop clinical signs when infected but can shed virus into the environment. |
