| 英文描述 | Teratoma is the second most common ovarian tumor in horses after granulosa cell tumor and has a characteristic hardness and irregular surface with points and edges on rectal examination. Tends to occur in younger animals. Derived from more than one germ layer, and cartilage, skin, bone, hair, nerves, sebaceous material and teeth can be present in the mass. This tumor is usually benign, although malignant tumors have also been seen. |
