| 英文描述 | Large hematomas of up to 35 cm in diameter occasionally occur on the ovaries of mares following estrus. They are usually unilateral. Can be mistaken for tumors of the ovary but do not continue to grow as tumors do. The mare generally continues to cycle while the hematoma resolves, which may take 1 to several months. A mare developed ovarian follicular hemorrhage severe enough to cause hemoperitoneum and anemia. |
