| 中文描述 | 母馬在陰唇有出現腫塊,此症狀有可能是子宮的脫垂,但是骨盆的檢查顯示卵巢和子宮角都正常的位於腹部中正常的位置.母馬被euthanatized並且在右側的脖子有腫塊突出.這腫塊和頸部組織有相同的組織學成份,因次推測是頸部增生,這部分之前在馬或其他動物還沒有被認出.診斷藉由過往的歷史. |

| 英文描述 | A mare had a mass protruding from the vulvar lips; the syndrome resembled uterine prolapse, but pelvic examination showed that the ovaries and uterine horns were normally situated in the abdomen. The mare was euthanatized and it was determined that the mass protruded from the right lateral wall of the cervix. The lesion had histologic features of normal cervix, and was diagnosed as cervical hyperplasia, a previously unrecognized condition in horses or other species. Dx by histology. |
