| 英文描述 | Plasma prekallikrein deficiency is characterized by prolonged activated- partial thromboplastin time in the presence of normal concentrations of all other coagulation factors (Geor et al.). A Belgian horse bled excessively following castration; coagulation tests showed a prekallikrein deficiency. A brother and sister of the affected horse also had very low prekallikrein activity (Geor et al.). Dx by coagulation studies. |
