| 英文描述 | Teratomas in the area of the temporal bone at the base of the ear of the horse (and sometimes at other sites on the head) are seen occasionally. Most contain dentigerous tissue, and therefore called an 'ear tooth', but some contain only dermoid tissue. The swelling may contain fluid, and develop a fistula. Dx by radiography and examination of the tissue removed by excision biopsy. |
