| 英文描述 | Primary renal tumors in the horse are very rare, but carcinomas and nephroblastoma have been described. The kidney can also be affected by metastatic neoplasia. Diagnosis requires surgical biopsy or necropsy. The affected kidney may be palpably enlarged or painful, and hemoperitoneum is sometimes present. Most are malignant, with metastases to regional lymph nodes, liver and lung common, and the prognosis is poor. The BUN is often normal. |
