| 英文描述 | Thoroughpin is a tenosynovitis of the tarsal sheath that encloses the deep digital flexor tendon of the hind limb. The swelling is at the level of the point of the hock. There is no lameness unless the lesion is due to recent trauma or is associated with bony changes. 'False thoroughpins' are swellings in the tarsal area that do no involve the tarsal sheath, and can be diagnosed by contrast radiography. |
