| 英文描述 | Following racing many horses have blood visible on endoscopy but only a small percent have visible epistaxis. Repeated swallowing is often an early sign of hemorrhage; blood originates in the lung and is probably due to stress failure of pulmonary capillaries. Horses strenuously exercised but not raced can also develop this condition. Sudden death associated with this syndrome was described. |
