| 英文描述 | Guttural pouches are air-filled diverticula of the auditory tubes that communicate between the middle ear and the pharynx. Neoplasia of the guttural pouch is rare. Squamous cell carcinoma, fibroma, round cell sarcoma, melanoma, hemangiosarcoma, and hemangioma have been reported. Signs of chronic guttural pouch disease are present, and diagnosis is by endoscopy and biopsy. Radiographs may show density in the guttural pouch. Hemorrhage can lead to death. |
