| 英文描述 | An organism almost indistinguishable from MORAXELLA BOVIS has been isolated from the eyes of horses with conjunctivitis followed by erosion of the eyelid epithelium along both eyelids. It is possible that this organism represents a distinct species, M. EQUI. After a few days of intraocular antibiotic treatment the lesions healed. The disease was experimentally reproduced in horses but did not cause lesions in cattle. Rare, and the importance of this problem in the field seems to be small, but MORAXELLA is a possible cause of keratoconjunctivitis in horses. |
