| 英文描述 | Horses developed hyperammonemia associated with encephalopathy and prior abdominal pain without evidence of liver disease. The diagnosis of ammonia intoxication was confirmed by measurement of high blood ammonia levels or findings in the brain at necropsy consistent with ammonia intoxication. Some affected animals recovered, and plasma ammonia levels returned to normal with concurrent resolution of the signs. |
