| 英文描述 | Horses can develop a chronic disease of unknown cause characterized by myltisystemic eosinophilic and lymphocytic-plasmacytic infiltrates and formation of eosinophilic granulomas. Eosinophilia is an uncommon finding; hypoproteinemia can accompany protein-losing enteropathy. Most reports have been in horses from 3-13 years of age. The major clinical manifestations depend on the organs most involved; eosinophilic dermatitis and eosinophilic gastroenteritis are the most common variants of this condition. Diagnose by biopsy of organs affected (e.g. skin, gastrointestinal, hepatic, pulmonary, pancreatic). The prognosis might be better when infiltration is limited to the intestine. |
