| 英文描述 | Laminitis is a painful disease of the foot characterized by ischemic necrosis of the epidermal laminae, microvascular thrombosis, epithelial hyperplasia, and hemorrhage. Cause unknown but is associated with endotoxemia, excessive exercise on hard surfaces or opposite limb lameness, inappropriate corticosteroid treatment, black walnut toxicosis, overfeeding, and a diet of lush grass. No sure diagnostic test before hoof rotation; exclude other causes of lameness. |
