| 英文描述 | Described in foals 23-35 days old. Histo showed degeneration of the recurrent laryngeal nerves. Associated with administration of haloxon (organophosphate) starting at 2 days of age. There was evidence of bilateral laryngeal paralysis on endoscopy. This was also reported in two-year-old horses which developed bilateral laryngeal paralysis a few weeks after suspected dosing with organophosphates and had loss of myelinated fiber in the recurrent laryngeal nerves at necropsy. |
