| 英文描述 | Cervical intervertebral disc protrusion is a rare cause of ataxia in horses. In the few cases reported sudden onset of signs was seen, and cervical pain was not always present. Radiography may show narrowing of an intervertebral space, and myelography can demonstrate a mass compressing the cord. Confirmation requires surgery or necropsy. |
