| 中文描述 | 馬可能會有冠狀帶過度增生或是過度角化的現象出現，通常發生時四肢皆會出現，此增生可以被剝離。馬蹄壁上的改變和跛行的現象是很明顯的，在一些吃麥角和栗子的馬中也會有此症狀。診斷藉由排除其他可能的原因。 |
| 英文描述 | Horses can develop proliferative and hyperkeratotic lesion of the coronary band, usually of all four feet. There can be cracks and fissures. Associated hoof wall changes and lameness are variable. In some horses the ergot and chestnut are also affected. Dx made by exclusion of other causes. |
