| 英文描述 | A syndrome of Nocardioform placentitis has been described in mares in Kentucky. The placentitis, affecting the chorionic surface, is located in the cranial portion of the body of the placenta at the junction of the horns and body, often with involvement of the base of the horns. At least three species of bacteria, which might be placed on the class ACTINOBACTERIA, have been cultured from this disease. This placentitis can be associated with: abortion; stillbirth; birth of a weak foal; or a normal birth. Abortions have occurred at 8 months of gestation or later and are sporadic. |
