| 英文描述 | Rupture of the aorta through the aortic wall or at the aortic ring occurs occasionally in stallions, often after breeding a mare. Sudden death may be the only sign but if the heart can be ausculted there is a continuous murmer heard loudest on the right. Aortocardiac fistulas have been diagnosed in horses using echocardiography; the prognosis is poor. |
