| 英文描述 | The normal endocardium in horses is a translucent membrane which may have linear streaking. Horses that died suddenly or developed heart failure were found to have a diffusely white, opaque, fibrous and thickened endocardium on gross necropsy, with elastic fibers in fibrotic endocardial tissue on histology. The cause of this condition is unknown. |
