| 中文描述 | 末端種子骨韌帶發炎或撕裂傷會導致馬匹的殘廢。通常見於前肢，但後肢也會出現。跛腳可能是急性或慢性的，腫大的韌帶有時候可觸診到。在深壓種子骨基部時通常會疼痛。由阻斷種子骨基部的神經和超音波攝影診斷。在接觸種子骨時常會有放射線攝影的改變。末端種子骨骨折也可能發生。 |

| 英文描述 | Inflammation or avulsion of the distal sesamoidean ligaments is a cause of lameness in horses. Usually seen in the front limbs, but hind limbs have been affected. Lameness can be acute or chronic, and swelling of the ligament is sometimes palpable. Most have pain on deep pressure at the base of the sesamoids. Dx by nerve block at the base of the sesamoids and ultrasonography. There are usually radiographic changes at the attachments of the sesamoids. Fracture of the distal sesamoidian bone can also occur. |
