| 英文描述 | Rare. May be unable to palpate bowel on pelvic exam. Abdominal pain is a common presenting sign, and can vary from acute and severe to chronic recurrent colic. Dyspnea with or without colic is another common presenting sign. Dx by radiography, ultrasonography, or at surgery. Often present with no history of trauma. Has followed parturition in mares. Dyspnea may worsen when the animal is faced downhill. Gut sounds may be heard in the thorax. Congenital cases have been described; in one case associated with chylothorax. |
