| 英文描述 | Microfilaria of the nematode ONCHOCERCA CERVICALIS reside in the dermis of horses and surveys have shown that most horses have larvae. Some clinicians believe that in some horses these larvae cause a skin lesion with crusting and alopecia, often on the ventral midline of the abdomen, face, or in other areas. There is often a transient skin reaction following ivermectin treatment, and regression of lesions starts within 7 days. |
