| 英文描述 | A fluctuant swelling on the side of the head of a horse might be an enlarged parotid duct due to atresia of the exit in the mouth. The pH of the fluid is alkaline, indicating saliva, and the size of the swelling might increase during eating. Dx can be confirmed using contrast radiography. |
