| 英文描述 | Osteoarthritis is characterized by destruction of articular cartilage accompanied by subchondral bone sclerosis and marginal osteophyte formation; synovitis and joint effusion can be seen. Can affect any joint (e.g. spavin, ringbone). Osteoarthritis is usually seen in older horses, but there are reports of lesions in young horses with no history of trauma to the limb. |
