| 中文描述 | 是一種主要見於夸特馬（不過也出現於其他品種）的皮膚疾病，有寬度小於四公分長度由數英吋到數呎長不等的線性脫毛症和角化症，主要在頸部和胸部側面。組織學上有皮膚角化過度的情形。大多數的病例開始於六個月到五歲大，但一些病例的病灶可能在出生後不久即發現（Fadok）。診斷通常不困難，但可由生物檢驗確診。即使試圖治療，通常還是會持續一生。 |

| 英文描述 | This is a skin disease seen mainly in Quarter Horses (but seen in other breeds) with linear areas of alopecia and keratosis that are less than 4 cm wide and vary in length from a few inches to several feet. Mainly on the neck and lateral thorax. There is hyperkeratosis on histology. Most cases start at 6 months to 5 years of age but in some cases lesions can be observed shortly after birth (Fadok). Dx not usually difficult but can be confirmed by biopsy. Usually persists for life, despite attempts at treatment. |
