| 英文描述 | Primary hepatic neoplasia is very rare in horses, with cholangiocellular carcinoma the most common liver-tumor type in older horses. Young horses were described which had signs of hepatic neoplasia due to hepatic carcinoma. In some cases there was persistent polycythemia, hypoglycemia, and elevation in hepatic enzymes. May rise from hepatocytes or bile ducts, or can be due to metastasis from other sites. Dx by examination of tumor samples at biopsy or necropsy. |
