| 英文描述 | Caused by STREPTOCOCCUS EQUI, S. ZOOEPIDEMICUS or CORYNEBACTERIUM PSEUDOTUBERCULOSIS in most cases. Blood work indicates chronic infection. Protein and cells elevated in peritoneal fluid, but results of peritoneal fluid culture for bacteria often negative. Many have a history of respiratory disorder or lymphadenitis. If the abscess erodes a lymphatic vessel, chyle can be present in the abdomen. Involvement of the bladder can cause urinary tract signs. |
