| 英文描述 | Reserpine is a drug which depletes the supply of neurotransmitters. It has been used in horses to produce tranquilization but 5 mg orally or 10 mg parenterally can cause gastrointestinal, skin and neurologic signs. Signs of toxicity can improve by 60 hours post treatment. Dx by history and blood reserpine levels. |
