| 英文描述 | Retinal dysplasia is the abnormal differentiation of the retina with proliferation of neuroblasts and glia within the neurectodermal layer. There are focal or diffuse changes in pigmentation, vascularity, color and reflectivity on ophthalmoscopic examination. There are rare reports of retinal dysplasia in horses, including a foal born blind, and a foal with retinal dysplasia along with other ocular anomalies. Dx by ocular exam. |
