| 英文描述 | A digital tendon sheath is not normally found in the mid to lower metacarpal region of the horse, where the flexor tendons are surrounded by areolar tissue, the paratendon. A horse was seen which had a painless swelling of the mid metacarpal region due to a tendon sheath around both flexor tendons. Signs were not seen until the animal was about 1 year old. Dx by contrast radiography of the swelling. |
