| 英文描述 | Abnormalities of the nasal septum increase airway resistance, and reduce effective airflow, producing noise and respiratory problems during exercise. Thickening is due to congenital cystic degeneration, inflammation or, rarely, neoplasia or hamartoma. Deviation can be congenital, traumatic, or secondary to expanding dental cysts, sinus empyema or neoplasia. Dx by palpation, endoscopy and radiography. |
