| 英文描述 | Ringbone is a periostitis of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd phalanx. It is called 'high' or 'low' depending on its location. When the articular surface is not involved lameness is absent or minimal. Lameness occurs if there is a concurrent arthritis. Pain on pressure over the affected area is sometimes present. When the extensor process of the third phalanx is involved it is called 'buttress foot'. Dx by radiography. |
