| 英文描述 | Atopy is a pruritic dermatitis in patients sensitized to inhaled environmental antigens. A seasonal pruritic dermatitis which closely resembles canine atopy was reported in horses and sheep. There was recurrent seasonality of clinical signs; symmetrical pruritus without primary skin lesions, involving the face, ears, and ventrum; peripheral and tissue eosinophilia; and hyperplasic superficial perivascular dermatitis found on skin biopsy. These observations sugest that these animals were suffering from atopy. Seasonal allergic dermatitis was also reported in sheep in which it was suspected that the skin lesions were a reaction to the bites of CULICOIDES species. |
