| 英文描述 | Protozoan myeloencephalitis in horses has been seen in North and South America. Signs can be multifocal, asymmetrical and progressive. Onset can be acute or gradual. Age at onset varies from less than 1 year to decades old. SARCOCYSTIS NEURONA is the causative organism in most cases, but NEOSPORA CANINUM (N. HUGHESI) can also cause this disease. |
