| 英文描述 | Night blindness has been described in horses and dogs; day vision also occasionally impaired. Probably inherited. Affected animals bump into objects or are reluctant to move in dark environments. No visible changes on ophthalmoscopic exam. Signs are not progressive. Dx is confirmed by electroretinography. In horses, most common in Appaloosas, but occurs to a lesser extent in other breeds. |
