| 英文描述 | Common, can occur on any part of the skin, but mainly on the dorsal part of the horse. Not seasonal. Small firm dermal nodules are present; histology shows collagenous degeneration and eosinophil accumulation surrounding damaged tissue, with calcification. Dx by clinical signs and biopsy. Spontaneous remission may occur. In some cases this might be an immunologic response to silicone-based coatings on hypodermic needles. |
